The recently concluded Krista STEM Fair 2024 at Pusat Sains Negara, Kuala Lumpur was a vibrant celebration of creativity and innovation, bringing together preschoolers from 10 Krista centres across the region. The event saw young minds from Krista Kemuning Utama, Krista Bangsar, Taska Krista RedQ, Tadika Bukit Antarabangsa, Taska Krista @ Menara CIMB, Krista Sg Long, Taska Krista @ Menara AmBank, Krista Taman Seputeh, Krista @ Menara Aras Raya, and Krista Merchant Square showcase their imaginative STEM exhibits at the renowned science centre.
The exhibits featured a wide range of hands-on projects that engaged both the children and visitors alike. Some of the highlights included the Volcanic Eruption display, which demonstrated the natural power of eruptions, and the Fun Maze, illustrating the fundamental laws of motion. The Water Wheels captured the effects of potential energy in action, while the Paddle Board showcased the fascinating concept of thrust motion. The Skittle Rainbow exhibit amazed everyone with a colorful display of rainbow hues, and the Soap Magic and Floating Magnets experiments added an element of wonder to the event. Other creations like the ‘blowup’ balloon demonstration, Rocket Car, and Lift Elevator models were equally captivating, sparking curiosity and learning in the young participants.
The day culminated in an exciting tour of Pusat Sains Negara, allowing the children to experience firsthand the wonders of science and technology through interactive exhibits. This event not only fostered a deeper understanding of STEM concepts but also celebrated the creativity and potential of young minds.
