Krista Education Group bagged the prestigious Asian Leadership Awards for Schools, an awards programme organized by the Chamber of Asia Leadership Awards, an international organization that recognizes established education institutions and education professionals.
The award given to the group and its CEO is in recognition for Krista’s leadership role in the early childhood education industry in the region, in particular, Malaysia. This year, 2021, Krista celebrates its 25th year anniversary and Krista has been an iconic early childhood education franchise brand which has helped many bring their own business vision to life while enriching the lives and minds of more than 100,000 children nationwide and beyond.
Dato’ R. Rajendran, the CEO of Krista, said that the award is a testament to Krista’s commitment to the 2 Ps – Programmes and People. “Our academic and franchise programmes have proven to be relevant, flexible and have a timeless appeal throughout the years. When it comes to people, we’ve managed to keep our employees, franchisees, parents and students happy. Most of our franchisees have remained with us since Day 1 and we look forward many more years of success with them.” He acknowledged that the last one and a half year has been difficult for most businesses, and the education industry and Krista is not spared. “Most importantly, we are still here for the children and the operators amidst all the challenges brought by the pandemic.” Dato’ Rajendran dedicated the 25-year existence of Krista in the industry and this business recognition to all the dedicated and hardworking Krista business operators and their work force consisting mostly of teachers.
As Malaysia’s largest kindergarten network, Krista is the first and only education provider in the country that runs the CAPABLE Pre- school Programme. The programme’s objective is to develop well-balanced and all-rounded children through an experiential and innovative learning environment. The CAPABLE Pre-school Programme uses a syllabus that incorporates the intellectual, philosophical, physical, social and emotional aspects. It strives to maximise child development potential by making learning a fun-filled and memorable experience for the children.
At Krista, a child is guided through a comprehensive pre-school curriculum aimed at laying a solid foundation for healthy growth. The child is exposed to various aspects of the programmes such as Child-centred Learning, Academic Foundation, Practical Experiences, Assessment Provisions, Benevolence Incalculation, Learn to Play and Exploratory Endeavours, which help them develop strategic and creative thinking at a young age. The e-learning contents, books and teaching materials used are specially prepared and tailor-made according to the child’s level of developmental stage and understanding.
The achievement was announced by the organizers on 3rd September 2021. The main purpose of Asia Leadership Awards for Schools is to create a competition for raising overall performance standards and recognize the achievements of the best performing organizations.
